It all started in Denver, Colorado, in 1973, when Dave and Gail Liniger founded the company in which quality real estate sales people could realize their business potential. The concept was simple; in exchange for paying management fees and sharing in office overhead, agents could receive the maximum possible commission form their transactions. Along with the maximum Commission Programs, RE/MAX sought to maximize the benefits of affiliation by developing an array of services to encourage and support the professional growth of its members. These included a highly recognized company image, management training, system-wide referrals, network communications, conventions and extensive educational programs.

Our concept was designed to attract the best in sales people industry, the most experienced, the best educated and the highest producing. Across America, RE/MAX Associates average more experience and more sales per agent than the typical sales person, and that has made RE/MAX the real estate leader in cities and towns throughout the United States and Canada It has fueled our expansion into Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe, Israel, South Africa and Australia.

Community involvement is a privilege and a responsibility we consider extremely important and rewarding. In addition to volunteering our time and efforts at local fund raising events such as the Annual Community Classic Bike Tour benefiting Healthy Beginnings and the Children's Clinic, the Annual Bob Greene Gold Tournaments benefiting Hospice, and the Annual Realtors Bowl-A-Thon benefiting terminally ill individuals form our community, RE/MAX First Associates also proudly sponsors the children's Miracle Network. This is a non-profit organization where 100% of the funds raised stay within the community to provide children with medical care. Requirement of this organization dictates that no child ever be turned away due to lack of funds. The funds raised for the Children's Miracle Network provides medical care for five million children annually in over 160 hospitals across North America. The RE/MAX First Associates annual Easter Egg Hunt for the local children has been a huge success.
